🗒 A little note on some recent events, the current sentiment, and for the managers waiting for updates. The current $CHAMP price is a reflection of the unfortunate market conditions due to recent events, which is of course is something no one is happy about. However up or down, we believe in the value of Ultimate Champions as an experience regardless of the market! And we are ready to celebrate with you through the ups, or adapt and pivot when needed. Having said that, of course we can make no promises when it comes to these things out of our control, and we remind you to never invest more than your personal comfortable limit. 🏆 Updating $CHAMP rewards is something we are open to, as we have done it the past when the $CHAMP exploded with value. There is no rush to act on this however as we do not have any rewards coming up in the next few days. We do not want to overcommit too soon and devalue $CHAMP ourselves, or even undercommit by making changes too early. Just know that we are tracking the situation, and will keep you updated as things progress and Gameweeks return! ⚒ The upcoming major updates (both the sustainability and tournament updates) are still deep in the works, and on track with our most recently shared estimates (before Winter returns (excluding Romania)). HOWEVER, we will also be communicating exact values and structures in the coming couple of weeks, before the update - both for feedback and to share the direction. We know that waiting for updates can be frustrating, but they will be here before we know it. 🏖❄️ The Summer/Winter split has been a hot topic, and previously we hinted that after our other changes to tournaments we would try to keep Global in its original state, with exciting alternatives and stacking limits reducing the unfairness. It is becoming clear that this approach is not going to work for everyone, and we are now looking into additional solutions to come alongside the other sustainability updates (so, before winter fully returns). This could be in the form of a returning Summer/Winter split, or in some other type of split, such as two tiers of Global tournaments based on league values (or something similar) as suggested by players, or maybe an even more drastic completely change of tournament direction. There is still not a confirmed plan to share, however we are reading your comments and are aware there is a definite call for a change before the Winter returns.
